Future Spaces (/Zukünftige Räume)

Multimedia installation

The installative, open and multimedia space station by Giegold & Weiß is a physical place of visibility, exchange and solidarity. While not visible from the outside, the journey into an inter* utopia starts off inside. Through this, the relevance of a space itself becomes the central subject.

Via QR codes, an auditory area opens up, in which inter* activists from five continents explore spaces, the question of a utopia, different temporalities and the role of communities.

In a section of the auditory work that is solely directed at inter* people, a common audio space is created that functions to simultaneously address all inter* listeners at the same time.

Textile drawings on the walls of the space station, inspired by submissions and conversations, make an inter* utopia fragmentarily imaginable.
